Get cash out ahead of your flight at an Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) in Brisbane’s Domestic and International Terminals. For your convenience, you’ll find them located both before and after security.

Baggage Storage

Need to store some luggage during your stay? Brisbane Airport offers self-service storage solutions at the Domestic and International Terminals as well as the Skygate Centre. Both short and long-term rental options are available around the clock (24/7), with lockers ranging in size to fit anything from a backpack to strollers and musical instruments.

Luggage Trolleys

Take a load off, and use a baggage trolley to make your way around Brisbane Airport. Luggage trolleys are available in both Terminals to make your transit a little easier. Use a trolley free-of-charge in the International Terminal, and for a non-refundable fee of AU$4.00 in the Domestic Terminal.

Charging Stations

Are your mobile devices in the red? Power back up at dedicated USB and plug-in charging stations throughout the Terminals, including at the gates for your pre-flight convenience. If using the stations, remember to never leave devices unattended.

At the International Terminal, why not use pedal power to charge up? Watt Bikes are located on Level 4 in the Departure Hall just near the food court, and these free bike riding stations generate enough power to charge a phone before a flight, while also adding some incidental exercise to your airport visit.  

Currency Exchange

Travelex have all your foreign currency needs sorted. With 60 currencies available for exchange or purchase, visit any of the five stores located across the International and Domestic Terminals.

First Aid Rooms

Take care of yourself while travelling. If you are injured or become ill at Brisbane Airport, there are first aid facilities and trained staff at both Terminals. If you require assistance, please call +61 7 3406 3171 and make yourself known to the Duty Coordination Manager.

If you have a medical emergency, please dial 000.

Both terminals have defibrillators and first aid kits on-hand for emergency situations. Their locations are marked on the terminal maps.

Stay the night at one of the airport hotels when transiting through Brisbane Airport.

  • The Ibis and Pullman Brisbane Airport is conveniently located within a 6 minute walk from the Domestic Terminal.
  • Novotel Brisbane Airport is located in the Skygate precinct, 10 minutes drive from the airport and offers a shuttle service between the terminals and the hotel.

Need assistance? Got a burning question? Brisbane Airport Ambassadors are here to help. Look out for more than 170 ambassadors who roam the airport decked out in bright blue shirts. They can answer just about any question to do with Brisbane Airport – from directions to the closest charging station to where to eat.

Visitor Information

Looking for things to do and places to stay during your visit to Queensland? Southern Queensland Tourism operate accredited Visitor Information desks in both the Domestic and International Terminals. They can assist with general tourism information, including airport and transport services.

Lost Property

Lost something at Brisbane Airport?  Let us try and help you locate it.
Our lost property team scour the International Terminal, car parks, transfer buses and the Domestic Terminal that are managed by Brisbane Airport. Property located in these Brisbane Airport managed areas can be collected from the Visitor Information desks by prior arrangement. You may also need to check with your airline’s lost property team or the Australian Federal Police if you’ve lost your identification or passport.


Whether you want to kick back and relax or find a space to get work done, Brisbane Airport has airline lounge facilities in both the Domestic and International Terminals.

Not a lounge member? No worries. The Plaza Premium Lounge and Wellness Spa located in the International Terminal offers pay-per-use service for passengers wishing to access lounge and spa facilities.


Loosen that travel tension with a massage at the International Terminal. The Plaza Premium Wellness Spa, accessible from the Level 3 departures area, offers everything from express 15-minute hand and foot therapies through to 1-hour body massage. Book in advance to secure an appointment.

Parent Rooms

To make things easier for those travelling with little ones, Brisbane Airport has parenting rooms located throughout the Domestic and International Terminals. Rooms are equipped with baby change facilities, feeding chairs and microwaves.

Postal Services

The airport is your last chance to send a postcard from Brisbane, so make use of three Australia Post Regular (red) and Express Post (yellow) mailboxes located kerbside outside each of the Terminals.

There are no Australia Post shops or postage services in Brisbane Airport itself, but you can search for your most convenient Post Office directly through the Australia Post network.

Prayer Room

Brisbane Airport offers a peaceful space for prayer and meditation through a non-denominational prayer room on Level 4 of the International Terminal. You’ll find it down the corridor from Flight Centre.


Telephones are located throughout the Terminals for your convenience and can be operated using coins, credit card or phone card.  Phone cards can be purchased at News Travels retailers or Visitor Information desks throughout both Terminals.

At the International Terminal:

  • Level 2 arrivals near Spoon
  • Level 3 after security near News Travels
  • Level 4 departures near the centre entry opposite Row 6

At the Domestic Terminal:

  • Level 2 adjacent to the lift near Gate 23

Nothing feels as good as that first shower after a long flight. We offer shower facilities in both the Domestic and International Terminals.

  • In the International Terminal you’ll find showers on Level 2 in the arrivals hall, and Level 3 after security.  

  • In the Domestic Terminal shower facilities are found in the central Terminal area on Level 2, near Gate 36, and in the central Terminal satellite, near Gate 26.  

All showering facilities are free of charge; guests will need to bring their own towel and shower products.

Smoking Areas

There are no butts about it, Brisbane Airport is a smoke-free zone. Smoking is only permitted in dedicated smoking areas outside the building. Ensure that you use the dedicated smoking areas and dispose of your butts in the bins provided, or risk a fine.

  • Domestic Terminal – There are no smoking areas within the Terminal building. You’ll find sheltered smoking areas outside the building, at either end.

  • International Terminal – There is one designated Smoking Balcony at the International Terminal. You’ll find it on Level 3 in the Departures Lounge, just after security and behind The Coffee Club.

Vending Machines

Don’t go hungry during a flight. Load your pockets with treats from vending machines, which are located throughout both the Domestic and International Terminals. You’ll find something for savoury and sweet appetites.

Water Stations

Hydrate yourself before flying at one of Brisbane Airport’s filtered drinking water stations. You’ll find them scattered around the airport, including all car parks, pick up and drop off areas and the terminals.

There’s also a hot water station located in the International Terminal, behind the Coffee Club on Level 3.


Trawl through your Instagram feed, do some last minute travel research, watch a movie or download your favourite podcast – Brisbane Airport has high-speed Wi-Fi for your device. Free Wi-Fi is available across all areas of the International Terminal and Domestic Terminal.

Can’t find a signal? It could be because you are in an airport lounge as they often have their own Wi-Fi service.
